The Faculty of Political Sciences and Administration of Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz was established on October 1, 2019 as a result of the transformation from the previous Institute of Political Sciences. It is the basic organizational unit established to optimize the research and teaching work of the political science environment. From the very beginning of the institution's existence, an interesting and perspective team of researchers has been built. This was noticed, inter alia, by the Central Commission for Degrees and Titles, which in 2004 granted the right to confer doctoral degrees in political science.

Currently, the Faculty conducts studies in Polish at the first and second degree in the following fields of study:

• political science,
• innovation and public sphere management,
• national security,
• national security management,
• education at the Doctoral School in the discipline of political science and administration.
